Oracle ERP Programme Manager – London Business District

Our client, a FTSE 250 Listed business, centred in the London Business District, are looking for an experienced Oracle ERP Programme Manager, reporting directly into the Head of PMO following PMO governance, to manage a Finance Transformation Programme to migrate a number of legacy ERP systems to a single Oracle R12 ERP Platform.

You will have full reporting lines to the Programme Steering Board (Programme Director, Applications Director, Finance Directors) whilst Programme Managing the transition from project through to full end state delivery.

As the Oracle ERP Programme Manager your purpose will be:

To plan, direct, and coordinate activities to manage and implement programmes of interrelated projects from proposal initiation to final operational stage

    * Leading the programme/project team in determining business requirements and translating requirements into plans.
    * Determining, monitoring, reviewing and reporting on all programme attributes including costs, staffing requirements, resources, issues, risks and changes
    * Ensuring that programmes/projects are managed to realise business benefits and that programme management is informed by an awareness of current technical developments.
    * Delivering change projects in accordance with programme requirements across all Business Services portfolios (Business, Strategy & IT)

To ensure that programmes and projects taken on are relevant, viable and deliver the business benefits required and that demand is balanced against current and future capability.

To ensure new services and service changes are designed, transitioned and introduced into service operation in a controlled and risk assessed manner.

To oversee the adherence to governance for programmes and projects, building a highly skilled and credible team.

Key responsibilities will cover:

    * Planning for example be responsible for defining the project deliverables, work breakdown structures and high level programme plan and lead the formation of and transition plan for project change with the business functions and stakeholders, agreeing all communications within the programme governance.
    * Financial responsibilities to define and manage the budget for the programme including providing accurate and punctual reporting and forecasting as required
    * Operational responsibilities for example ensures effective resource management is undertaken so that projects and programmes are resources and the required expertise 9 internal or external0 and delivery is a joined up process with the business so that effective business change management is undertaken 9 training, communications, process/org design)
    * Customers by effectively managing business expectations and inspiring confidence in delivery
    * Leadership and People Management by taking responsibility for the programme and project teams, overseeing, in association with others as necessary, their recruitment, training and development

As the Oracle ERP Programme Manager you will have:

    * Proven experience in programme, project and transition management
    * MSP/APMPQ or similar Programme Management Qualifications
    * Experience of managing complex ERP Data Migration programmes specifically Oracle R12
    * Proven experience in running successful programmes and projects including service transition, managing change within multi-disciplinary businesses and operating in large scale complex organisations with diverse stakeholder communities
    * Experience of working in fast-paced business delivery environment
    * Ability to assimilate information quickly and accurately, be well organised and cope well with managing a dynamic workload with changing priorities
    * Strong customer awareness and a proven track record of ensuring the business is always at the forefront of decision making
    * Proven ability to drive outstanding performance and gain commitments through developing, coaching, motivating, energising and inspiring team members
    * Strong ability to communicate technical concepts and opportunities to a business audience
    * Excellent skills in effective stakeholder relationship management and strong influencing skills
    * Passion for developing and maintaining effective working relationships at all levels across the business
    * Comfortable to challenge and be challenged and manage conflict
    * Strong leadership and project management skills
    * Excellent ability to manage ambiguity and undertake forward planning
