Help us Raise £1,000 for Charity

On Saturday 4th November, 12 members of the Edge Careers team will be taking part in the Winter Wolf Run. A grueling 10k run through a muddy obstacle course, all in aid of charity.

The Wolf run is designed to re-create the feeling of running in natural terrain whilst also presenting runners with a challenging, interesting and enjoyable event.

The team are taking part in the event to raise money for Mary Stevens Hospice, a great cause that provide specialist care and support for people who are living with an incurable illness and their families.

We have exciting news, this week we moved from our Droitwich head office to our new Bromsgrove office, which has twice the floor space as our previous office.

Due to our exceptional growth over the past few years, we out grew our previous premises in Hampton Lovett, Droitwich.

Based on Harris Business Park, Stoke Prior, Bromsgrove our new modern office has a large open plan sales floor, a gym, space for a games room and meeting rooms.

As the newest member of the Edge Careers team, Sam joins our thriving Freelance Team as the division’s Labour Manager. Sam brings with her a wealth of experience in both the public sector and private sector. Beginning with a career in administration and sales, Sam then moved onto teaching. With the ability to communicate clearly and build strong relationships, Sam is a key addition to the Freelance Division and the Edge Careers Team.

One of our offerings that you may not be aware of, is our psychometric testing, which we offer to all clients when our candidate is at interview stage.

I’ve heard of Psychometric Testing, but what exactly is it?

Psychometric testing is simply a way of assessing a candidate’s individual personality, attitude and motivations in the workplace. This allows a client to see if a candidate would suit the company and the role they have been put forward to. There are four key styles that are tested as part of the DiSC psychometric testing, which are Dominance, Influence, Conscientiousness and Steadiness. Everyone has a mixture of all four styles but will have a bias towards one or two styles this will be shown by where the dot falls on the DiSC illustration.
