Edge Careers are delighted to announce that, due to the ongoing growth and success of our London team we have moved out of our offices in Marylebone into bigger and more modern offices in Shoreditch, close to Liverpool Street Station.

The office block is designed to promote the new modern way of working with big open spaces for a cohesive working environment, along with private offices and meeting rooms.

Offering free drinks (including beer) and cake, the offices will become a desirable place for our team to meet with candidates and clients.

Help us Raise £1,000 for Charity

On Saturday 4th November, 12 members of the Edge Careers team will be taking part in the Winter Wolf Run. A grueling 10k run through a muddy obstacle course, all in aid of charity.

The Wolf run is designed to re-create the feeling of running in natural terrain whilst also presenting runners with a challenging, interesting and enjoyable event.

The team are taking part in the event to raise money for Mary Stevens Hospice, a great cause that provide specialist care and support for people who are living with an incurable illness and their families.

Olivia Finn becomes the latest recruiter to join our dynamic London office.

Olivia Finn - M&E Manager - London

Olivia has worked the majority of her career within sales, initially starting off selling “Spa Days” to unsuspecting targets on the streets of SOHO during University holidays. Following this, Olivia became a Project Manager within the London residential market selling refurbishment packages, initially for a developer for four years and then for her own business for a further three.
Deciding it was time to expand her skill set, Olivia joined a boutique search firm in London, where she spent five years honing her skills as a recruitment consultant specialising in Building Services and heading up their M&E Division.

Working out of our London office, Olivia will be heading up M&E recruitment for the region.

We would like to wish Olivia the best of luck in her new role, where we are sure that she will use her existing skills and experience to become a vital member of the London team.

Andy Winkett Takes Part in Charity Golf Day

Yesterday (Wednesday 5th July) our Senior Executive Recruitment Consultant, Andy Winkett took part in EPIC’s (Every Professional in Construction) charity golf day.

The charity golf day was set up to celebrate EPIC’s 40 year anniversary and was played in aid of Ehlers-Danlos Support UK a charity that has been supporting people affected by the syndromes (EDS) for 30 years and Essex & Herts Air Ambulance, which provides lifesaving care across Essex, Hertfordshire and the surrounding areas.

It’s fair to say the day was a massive success with the golfers raising an incredible £16,000 for the two charities.
