Senior Mechanical Project Manager – London

The Company

Our client is an MEP Contractor with over 30 years of experience delivering Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health packages on some of London’s most prestigious commercial projects. With a full order book already in place for the next couple of years they are looking at hitting a turnover in excess of £150 million for 2018/2019.

The Role

Lead Mechanical Project Manager.

Stand-alone lead Project Manager that will take the project from inception through to close out and final account. Fully responsible for the commercial aspects of the project including P&L, budget and profitability.

Average mechanical project £10 million so the successful candidate will have delivered mechanical packages with values of a minimum of £5 million.

As this is such an integral position for our client references must be provided and it is crucial that the candidate has a minimum of five years relevant UK experience.

The Person

    * You will have professional qualifications ideally to degree level and experience in the design and project management of building services installations.
    * You will have excellent communication skills, an important aspect of this position is to discuss and promote standards as well as challenging, designs, quality and installations.
    * Extensive knowledge of CIBSE, BSRIA and RIBA codes and standards, and of all relevant legislation
    * Experience of working with M&E sub-contractors and managing third parties during the commissioning process.
    * You will be able to liaise effectively with contractors, clients and within your own team
    * You will have worked on packages or projects with a minimum value of £5 million ideally larger as projects are minimum of £10 million
    * You will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience working as a standalone Mechanical Project Manager for a Building Services Contractor within the UK
    * You have longevity with employers during your career
