Our client has been established for over 30 years with a turnover in excess of £50 Million and has been operating in the sustainable energy market. They are a design and build contractor specialising in Energy Centre design incorporating combined heat and power.
Job Description
Exciting opportunity to join a new division of a successful contractor that is driven by the design, deployment and performance monitoring of Low & Zero carbon technologies and systems within the built environment.
We are looking for someone with technical expertise in Sustainable Energy with 5-10 years’ experience in either an engineering, utilities, construction or a technical advisory background.
You will have recent industry experience in assessing feasibility of Decentralised Energy Solutions and options appraisals, through construction and into operations.
You will be working closely with your team to develop and manage new alternative markets and grow the division.
Person Specification

* Understanding of the cost base of Energy Conservation measures to allow detailed benchmarking of Projects
* Understanding of technologies including gas fired/ biomass Combined Heat and Power, Energy from Waste, Air source heat pumps, Ground source heat pumps and geothermal, Heat recovery chillers, biomass, and potentially also battery storage, Electric Vehicle Charging infrastructure, carbon capture and storage
* An understanding of Heat distribution infrastructure issues including operating pressures, temperatures, flow rates and controls, civil engineering relating to installation
* Minimum of 3 experience as a Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, Contracts Manager, Design Manager, Energy Analyst, Commercial manager
Qualifications

* HNC qualification (or above) in an engineering subject essential
* CITB Approved health and safety qualification
* Proven relevant Building Services Experience
