The Role
We are seeking an experienced Area Build Manager to oversee multiple residential developments, ensuring safe, high-quality, and efficient delivery. This role combines leadership, project oversight, and a focus on customer satisfaction across all sites within your area.
What you’ll do:
Lead, motivate, and develop site teams to deliver exceptional results.
Oversee programme planning and mitigate risks to meet delivery timelines.
Ensure the highest standards of build quality and site presentation.
Champion Health, Safety & Environmental standards, including mental health awareness.
Support sustainability initiatives and community engagement.
Maintain excellent relationships with internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and external stakeholders.
Ensure a 5-star customer experience, from pre-completion through handover.
What we’re looking for:
10+ years in housebuilding, with at least 3 years managing multiple projects.
3+ years at Contracts Manager level or equivalent.
Proven leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
Strong IT proficiency and effective time-management abilities.
Passion for quality, safety, and delivering exceptional homes.
Desirable:
Degree in a construction-related field.
NVQ Level 6 in Construction Management or above.
5+ years at Contracts Manager level.
