Edge Careers’ Great Weight Loss Challenge

With both men actively trying to lose weight, Edge Careers thought we would give them a little incentive and so has set them the challenge of losing 3 stone in just 20 weeks.

If they succeed by the 9th February 2017, Edge Careers will buy them both a new fitted suit to go with their slim new look.

So gentlemen it is time to cue the rocky montage video.

Wolves Legend, Robbie Dennison, Enters Edge Careers Charity Celebrity Challenge

Robbie Dennison is the latest celebrity to take part in the Edge Careers Charity Celebrity Challenge, rather fittingly following on from football commentating god, John Motson.

Robbie had a long and successful footballing career where he was often deployed on the wing. He started his professional career in 1985 with West Bromwhich Albion, joining on a two year deal. He most notably came to prominence when he signed for Wolverhampton Wanderers in 1987, quickly establishing himself as a first team player and he was instrumental in the club’s back to back promotions. Robbie represented his home nation of Northern Ireland on 18 occasions, from 1988 to 1997.

Since hanging up his boots in 1999, Robbie runs his own successful trophy business, Robbie Dennison Trophies, based in the West Midlands riverside town of Stourport-on-Severn.

LEGENDARY COMMENTATOR, JOHN MOTSON OBE, TAKES PART IN THE EDGE CAREERS CELEBRITY CHALLENGE

Legendary football commentator John Motson, also known as Motty and for his big sheep skin coat, has commentated on over 1,500 games on television and radio, including covering all the major football championships: World Cups, FA Cups, and European Championships.

In 2008, Motty announced his retirement from live television commentary. The Euro 2008 final was his last live television broadcast. He has continued since then to cover games for Match of the Day  and appeared on BBC Radio 5 Live, as well as releasing his own book, Motty: Forty Years in the Commentary Box

As well as commentating, John has also been on the big screen in films, such as Bend it like Beckham and provided the voice of a character in Flushed away.
