THE WINNER IS RICHARD MILLWARD

The final whistle has gone on Edge Careers’ Fantasy Football League and we are delighted to say. Richard Millward has finished top of the pile, meaning he has won the amazing prize of a four day trip to New York.

In a season where there has been huge surprises, namely Leicester being crowned Premier League champions, Richard managed to be the ‘Claudio Ranieri’ of the league and pick the team that has led him to victory.

It has been no easy ride though, as even with just one game to go, the gap between Richard Millward in 1st and Andy Weir in 2nd was only 2 points, creating a nervous Tuesday night for Richard. With only 3 minutes of added time to play, Andy Weir looked certain to be our winner, but then in the 92nd minute, with the last kick of the game, Chris Smalling scored an own goal allowing Richard to be crowned our winner.

Richard Millward’s team, Just Obita Fun, scored a brilliant 2,318 points to win the Edge Careers Fantasy Football League by just 2 points, ranking 1,559 out of 3,734,001 in the world.

Rob Hyde Wins February’s Fantasy Football Prize

Rob Hyde, who is a Senior Commercial Manager at DBK Partners Limited, wins February’s prize in the Edge Careers Fantasy Football league. For his prize we have sent Rob a £75 Amazon gift card, we hope you enjoy spending this, Rob.

After a roller coaster of a month where we have witnessed the highs and lows of point scoring, Rob’s team, ElJogoBonito2016, scored an impressive 269 points, making him the February prize winner.

There are only 8 games left and what a season it has been so far, just like the Premier League itself, it is still all to play for in the Edge Careers Fantasy Football League.

With the amazing prize of a trip to New York still up for grabs, every week we are seeing changes all across the table, including first place where currently Andy Weir’s, Weirs Beards, and Richard Millward’s, Just Obita Fun, are tied with an overall score of 1,732 points. Will either team pull ahead or will a new challenger seize the opportunity to take the lead and win the all important prize?
