About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Design Manager or Senior Design Manager to join our client’s Midlands team. As the sole Design Manager on site, you will work closely with the Senior Project Manager overseeing the scheme, while maintaining a direct reporting line to the Regional Design Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate all design information from consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Ensure design solutions meet project requirements, budget constraints, and programme deadlines.
Serve as the main liaison between the design team, client, and construction teams.
Resolve design issues and clashes efficiently.
Review drawings, specifications, and reports to ensure buildability and practical construction feasibility.
Requirements / Key Skills
Proven experience in main contracting with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractor.
Based in the Midlands, with the ability to commute to the office and project sites.
