Role Overview
We are recruiting a Project Quantity Surveyor for a unique residential scheme in Cheltenham. The scheme incorporates RC structures, retaining walls, split levels, and associated infrastructure works, offering a technically engaging opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor.
The role is primarily site-based, with occasional office attendance to liaise with project leadership. The successful candidate will manage costs, sub-contractors, and client communications, ensuring the project runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the lead Quantity Surveyor for the project.
Track, review, and manage drawing revisions.
Perform detailed cost analysis and budget monitoring.
Oversee and manage sub-contractor engagement and payments.
Prepare and review interim valuations, variations, and final accounts.
Support project planning and reporting.
Maintain professional communication with clients, contractors, and project teams.
Candidate Requirements
Several years’ experience in residential or commercial construction projects, ideally with RC structures and complex site conditions.
Strong knowledge of Quantity Surveying procedures and best practices.
Excellent communication, organisational, and negotiation skills.
Driven, proactive, and committed to delivering high-quality results.
Comfortable working primarily on-site, with flexibility for office attendance 1–2 days per week.
