A leading construction contractor, known for delivering complex and high-profile projects across multiple sectors, is seeking a Project Planner to join their team.
We’re recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established organisation with a strong reputation for technical excellence, innovation, and collaboration. This is a fantastic opportunity for a planning professional to develop their career within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
This is a key position within the pre-construction and delivery teams, providing professional planning and programming support throughout the project lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading on weekly progress updates, site walkarounds, and meetings with internal teams and the supply chain to produce detailed reports, as-built data, and performance metrics
Creating and managing short- and mid-term programmes in collaboration with site teams and subcontractors, ensuring full resource allocation and foresight
Understanding the full scope and needs of each project and client, proposing viable planning alternatives that drive project success
Utilising Primavera P6 for planning tasks; knowledge of NEC contracts is advantageous.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Proven experience as a Project Planner within the construction sector
Strong working knowledge of P6 (Primavera); familiarity with ASTA Powerproject is beneficial
Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
Strong communication and analytical skills
