Edge Careers, Executive Division is seeking a highly experienced interim senior executive to provide board-level leadership and counsel across a portfolio of high-profile building schemes, with individual project values up to £250m.
The Opportunity
Working within a leading Main Contractor, you will act as the primary interface with the end-user client and their professional teams, shaping strategy and safeguarding performance across complex, multi-stakeholder programmes, and reporting to the Board on a monthly basis.
Key Responsibilities
Lead executive oversight across multiple schemes, ensuring delivery against commercial, programme, quality and risk objectives.
Report directly to the MD and Board, providing clear insight, challenge and recommendations.
Drive client and stakeholder engagement at the highest level, through collaboration, building trusted relationships and resolving issues swiftly.
Set programme strategy, governance and performance frameworks; embed best practice and continuous improvement.
Mentor senior leaders and strengthen organisational capability across pre-construction through to handover.
About You
Proven track record operating at executive level within major building projects (circa £100m–£250m+).
Exceptional stakeholder management, diplomacy and board reporting skills.
Strong commercial acumen with a rigorous approach to risk, contracts and governance.
Comfortable leading across multiple concurrent schemes and working within complex client/consultant environments.
Terms
Interim, part-time engagement (anticipated 24 months).
Extensive travel across the South of England.
