Overview
We’re currently sourcing a Land Manager / Senior Land Manager for an ambitious new build residential developer based in the Midlands.
In this exciting role, you will be a key part of a collaborative and experienced land and development team, contributing directly to the expansion of the company’s strategic land portfolio. You’ll take ownership of the land acquisition process– from identifying opportunities and carrying out site appraisals and valuations, right through to negotiating and completing contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and assess land opportunities suitable for residential development
Undertake feasibility studies, financial appraisals, and valuations
Lead negotiations with landowners, agents, and stakeholders
Manage the acquisition process through to legal completion
Build strong networks with local agents, landowners, and planning authorities
Requirements:
Proven experience in a land acquisition role within a housebuilder, housing association, or property consultancy.
Strong understanding of the UK residential development process
Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Familiarity with planning policy, viability assessments, and site constraints
