The office block is designed to promote the new modern way of working with big open spaces for a cohesive working environment, along with private offices and meeting rooms.

Offering free drinks (including beer) and cake, the offices will become a desirable place for our team to meet with candidates and clients.

Oliver (Ollie) seen here on the left, the first of our new starters, gained a Degree in Business Management, before quickly becoming involved in the recruitment industry. Oliver sees his role at Edge Careers as a brilliant opportunity to build a career and become part of an influential and successful team.

Fabio the second of our new starters, seen here on the right, has a passion for sport, studying Sports Science at College and later gained a degree in Law. After finishing his degree, Fabio decided to make the next step in his career and become a Recruitment Consultant.
Fabio is truly passionate about the fundamentals of recruitment – from spotting talent, to match making, negotiation and in the end, placing the right candidate in the right role with the right business.

November Fantasy Football Prize Winner

Congratulations to Tony Cantwell of Laing O’Rourke who is November’s winner of the Edge Careers Fantasy Football League. Edge Careers’ very own Stuart Smith completed ‘Theo’s Comedy Skool’  and performed his comedy routine at the Artrix in Bromsgrove. Coming out in the second half of the show, Stu brought the crowd to tears with laughter, performing a range of jokes and managed to get through his FIRST EVER comedy performance unscathed.

I think it is safe to say that he loved every second of it and looks forward to his next performance.

On Friday 4th December after working hard all year, all divisions of the Edge Careers Group gathered together to let their hair down and celebrate Christmas in style.

The event was held at The Cotswold Water Park, Four Pillars Hotel, where the staff spent the day. Starting in the morning with their end of year conference where each division showed what they had achieved this year and their plans for the new year.

The team then enjoyed a relaxing afternoon before partying the night away.

A couple of months ago we posted about a comedy night that our Principal Consultant, Stuart Smith, would be taking part in to release his inner comedian to a live audience. The show is now just around the corner and Stuart has his routine nailed down to a tee (or so he tells us!), thanks to his comedy workshops he’s been taking part in over the past five weeks.

The event kicks off at 8 p.m. Saturday 5th December at the Artrix Theatre and tickets are on sale now, so get involved and join us in having a great night out.
