Senior Site Manager – Build – Shoreditch (£72,000 + package)
Edge Careers are recruiting on behalf of one the UK’s fastest growing building contractors who have a very strong orderbook for 2018/19. Our client’s turnover for 2017 is in excess of £120m based out of their Hertfordshire office, delivering schemes inside the M25 up to £50m across the following sectors:

* Residential
* Commercial
* Leisure
* Student Accommodation
* Industrial
Due to sustained growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Site Manager to join the business. Initially you will be reporting into a site based Project Manager on a £23m Student Accommodation scheme in Shoreditch. After this initial scheme, you will be involved with projects in a similar area of town.
The Senior Site Manager will play an integral part in helping to grow the business by delivering flagship schemes whilst reporting into a Project Manager.
You must possess the following skills:

* Achieve targets and carry out programming and monitoring to ensure that deadlines are met
* Read and understand specifications, drawings, preliminaries, preambles and contract documentation
* Produce H&S and O&M on completion of projects
* Requisition and management of materials/delivery
* Ensure full compliance with all Health & Safety aspects
The successful Senior Site Manager must possess the following to be considered for the role:

* 6+ Years’ Experience
* Degree Educated – Construction related
* Track record of working on projects in excess of £10m
* Track record of delivering projects as either Senior SSM or Site manager
* Easy commutable to Shoreditch and surrounding areas
