Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor – London

A highly successful MEP Contractor that have carved themselves a name at the top of the new build market. With a turnover in excess of £60M and an orderbook boasting more than £80M of work for 2018 they are on a quest to bolster their Commercial Team.

My client needs two Senior M&E Quantity Surveyors that have the drive and tenacity to hit the ground running within a fast paced environment. This position isn’t for people that want to hide away in the corner and you will be an integral part of the business and will be expected to deliver consistently.

You must have exceptional knowledge and ability in Quantity Surveying principles and should be able to take on and completely run your own MEP project through all stages from award of contract to project handover.

You will be responsible for either a single project MEP Value of £30M – £40M or two individual Projects of £15M each

The ideal Candidate will be able to carry out all the typically expected duties of a competent and energetic Senior Quantity Surveyor to include but not limited to:

    * All Subcontractor appointments
    * All applicable project Cost reporting
    * All Subcontractor payment assessment and payment certifications
    * Variation accounts and final accounts management
    * Monthly Valuations
    * Materials and plant tracking and reporting
    * Close liaising with the Clients Commercial representative regularly and generally manage all aspects associated with the Project MEP financial management and control of the Project including Prelims
    * Procurement and Production etc.
    * They will support and train their assigned Junior or intermediate Surveyors and manage as necessary.
