Regional Commercial Manager
My client is an established Tier 1 main contractor with offices located all over the country. They predominantly work within the Education, Residential, Health, Leisure and Hotel sectors. They execute a variety of projects including: New Build, New Build Extension’s and Refurbishment’s, secured via various procurement routes (competitively, negotiated and framework).
Their current requirement for a Regional Commercial Manager is for their Northern region and will be located out of a regional office in the North West.
The region currently enjoys a turnover of c£170 million over 4 offices and the office related to the requirement currently turnover £70 million. They manage projects ranging in value from £3 million up to £40 million with an average being c£15 million.
The region operates truly nationally and all projects are secured within commutable distance of their regional offices.
Regional Commercial Manager
This position is the true sense of “hands on” strategic Regional Commercial Managers post.
The successful candidate will be commercially and contractually responsible for a £70 million regional business and be instrumental in their strategic growth. You will have all commercial staff reporting to you including: Managing QS’s, Senior Quantity Surveyor’s, Project Surveyor’s and Assistant QS’s.
You will report to a Commercial Director and work closely with the Regional Operations Manager for the specific region.
