Quantity Surveyor

Our client are one of the foremost engineering consultancies in the world. They are seeking a Quantity Surveyor with experience in the Nuclear Power Sector, to be based from their new offices in Bristol. This is a consultancy role, candidates must have experience with a consultancy.
Requirements for the Quantity Surveyor

* Solid experience with a consultancy organisation
* Membership of a relevant professional body, such as MRICS MCIOB
* A degree qualification in a construction related field, such as Quantity Surveying, Project Management or Construction Management etc.
* Circa 10 years post qualification ( post degree) experience as a quantity surveyor or cost consultant/manager.
* Experience of Nuclear sector projects
* Significant experience of NEC Contracts
Role and Responsibilities for the Quantity Surveyor

* Experience of managing tender assessment process and reviewing negotiations with the contractor
* Provision of pre-tender estimates to support tender cost analysis
* Responsible for managing overall budget, performing all post contract activities, make recommendations for Final Account Submissions.
* Cost Auditing, review of scope and cost, management of risk
