Electrical Design & Delivery Manager – London
An exciting, innovative and forward thinking business that has some of the worlds most renowned names as clients.
They are looking for an Electrical Design and Delivery Manager who will oversee the design team who are dedicated to delivering excellence in electrical design across national and international retail portfolios.
The role is in support of the Engineering Team Lead and provides electrical design knowledge in review of contractor proposals, whilst also attending a proportion of sites to validate delivery of required scope by contractor teams. The ability to communicate with clients, contractors the wider team is essential.
The Electrical Design and Delivery Manager will take day to day responsibility for the electrical design and successful close out, and handover of engineering services within client portfolios.
You will have the primary responsibility for electrical design solution development/management. Periodic on-site verification of contractor delivery against approved design. It is imperative that you have site based experience ideally with a contractor recently in your career.

Experience
-
* Proven experience in electrical design.
* Strong portfolio of involvement on electrical projects within construction industry.
* On-site experience preferred, with a focus on exceptional project delivery and client satisfaction
* Great interpersonal skills
* Strong technical skills with experience of seeing projects through from design to implementation
* Ability to generate and communicate high quality electrical engineering solutions through presentations, drawings and specifications
* Experience in the client consultation process and developing electrical engineering strategies
* Experience of delivering engineering projects through traditional and design & build forms of contract
Knowledge/skills
-
* Expert capability within Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
* Expert knowledge of UK Building Regulations
* Expert knowledge of UK electrical engineering compliance standards
* Awareness of CDM Principal Designer/Principal Contractor responsibilities
* Revit, BIM processes, AutoCAD and AMTECH experience preferred
Qualifications

* Accredited degree or equivalent qualification
* Attained or evidence of development towards Chartered Engineer status
* Associate membership/affiliation to relevant industry organization(s) including CIBSE, IET etc
* Min 7 years’ experience in electrical engineering, design, delivery, consultancy or equivalent
