Stuart Smith - Principal Consultant

With 18 years’ experience working within the construction industry,  Stuart has spent the last 13 years working on a number of high profile mandates across the UK and Europe.  His specialism is in the appointment of operational and commercial staff,  working strategically with clients and candidates to deliver their bespoke requirements and career aspirations respectively.

Graduating with a degree in Civil Engineering, he began his career working for Sir Robert McAlpine where he worked on a number of multi-million pound projects, including the  “National Space Centre”  in Leicester.  Stuart spent the next six years working in senior operational positions within large main contractors.  This first-hand knowledge has given him a unique understanding and perspective of the sector and has allowed him to successfully build peer to peer relationships at CXO and Director level.
