Patrick Monahan is a stand-up comedian who has performed over 10 times at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. He has also won the television competition series Take the Mike in 2001 and Show Me the Funny in 2011.

Patrick has taken part in a number of other television competitions including, participating in the BBC One programme, Let’s Dance for Sport Relief and in 2014, Patrick Monahan participated in the second series of the ITV celebrity diving show Splash.

One of Patrick’s many achievements is holding the world record for the longest hug with a time of 25 hours and 25 minutes.
